Surprise Diaper Shower!

This past Sunday, our Sunday School Class at church threw us a Surpise Diaper Shower! It was so fun! Apparently this had been 'in the works' for 6 weeks, but I never had a clue. Jeff knew about it as well, but did a great job keeping it from me.

They disguised the shower as a BBQ after class at someone's house. Sounded totally normal to me; we all get together quite a bit.

As I was walking up to the house, I see in threw the window a bunch of little girl items on display, I knew they had a couple girls and just thought 'oh, how cute, they leave their toys sitting out..' Then we walked in and there were pink streamers everywhere, dolls and bottles on all the tables, and they told me this was a surprise diaper shower for us! I was shocked - obviously in such a good way!

The ADORABLE Cake - they gave us the uneaten cake to take home. That would make any pregnant girl happy :)

I thought this was such a cute touch!

Here's the diapers we accumulated! We got 16 boxes/bags. There are about 3 month's worth!

I just have to post this. So I've been talking with one of the leaders from the class about getting some of their photos, since my camera died. She sent me this picture below as 'a teaser'. I kind of wanted to die when I saw it. So I forwarded it to Jeff, and this is what he sent back after he 'doctored' it up.
Why is it you sometimes see yourself in pictures and get scared?Yes, that says Serial Killer.... that made me laugh out loud.
