Gymboree fun!

Jillian LOVES Gymboree class!  She loves climbing up and down the obstacles and running around with endless energy.  I think we would both prefer a little less of "circle/singing" time, but none the less the class is a huge hit with us!

We did a make up class this Saturday and Jeff came along for the fun!

LITTLE BROTHER!!!

We are beyond excited to have a little boy on the way!!!!!   He looked healthy as can be on the sonogram, and was moving all around putting on a show!!

Stir Crazy

We're on day 3 of being trapped inside this house.  I'm losing my mind.  I think Jill is too.  We want to go outside and play.  Run an errand.  Go to the park with friends.  Go to kinderusik and gymboree class.   Heck, I think we'd both just enjoy a joy ride around town.  But no such luck.  We have such a steep driveway and it's covered in 2" of ice.  We aren't going anywhere.  Jeff actually made it back to work today, so we are 1 person down in the entertainment area.
This nasty weather has proven yet again, that I'm a Texas girl at heart.  So is Jill.  Although I get tired of 100+ degree heat, we still go outside almost every day and play.  Not in this weather.  I'm such a wuss about the cold.  I'm SO glad I live in the south!!

We have played with crayons, play-doh, had tea parties with all her stuffed animals, finger-painted, made a game out of doing laundry and putting it away, read books, watched her favorite DVD's once per day, and I cant even count how many times Jill has 'reorganized' the tupperware, pots/pans, and spice cabinets.  I'm running out of ideas!

Jill helped me make muffins this morning, and she loved it.  Even though she flung raw mix all over the place.  She then wanted her own spatula, mixing bowl and measuring cup to play with.  I caught her feeding her bear with the spatula so many times.  PRECIOUS!  She does this little sticking her tongue out thing to mimic the sounds of someone drinking.

On to other things....

A few weeks ago Shelby came over with sweet Jaden for the day.  Jillian is a giant compared to Jaden?

Tea Parties:  My mom got Jillian a tea party set for Christmas.  A few weeks ago when my mom was watching Jill, my mom decided to break out the tea set (I hadn't yet).   I wish I had a picture of what I found when I came home from work... Bama and Jillian sitting at her table.  Both with big bows in their hair (a must at tea parties!).  3 stuffed animals on the table with tea cups..  They were having a tea party!  SO CUTE!!  Jillian loves to pour tea for everyone, spoon out sugar, and then feed the animals with a spoon.  Again, she does that fake sipping sound.  

When Nana came in town a few weeks ago, of course we had to have a tea party!  Ellen laughed and laughed, how can you not when a little toddler is having a tea party?  

Here they are after the tea party, doing another of Jillian's favorite things... reading books!

That about wraps up our past few weeks.    On Monday we find out if Baby #2 is a boy or a girl!! Can't wait!!
