On with the baby shower.... Two weekends ago Jeff''s law firm threw us a baby shower. Three couples in the firm threw it - and it was SO fun!! I sadly didnt get any pictures of the couples that threw it.
It was really cute, b/c everyone got us a 'normal' gift off our registry and then the men each got Jeff a 'survival' gift since he's a firsttime dad... and they were hilarious. They ranged from items to help with diaper changing (gloves, eye mask, clothes pin for his nose, nose plugs), to batteries for the swing, beer, advil, ear plugs, and my favorite - a stock pile of 'I'm sorry' cards. He probably got 25 'I'm sorry' cards straight from Halmark and all the men told Jeff, he'll need them - so keep the pile handy for when he needs to apologize to me. Pretty clever.
Here we are opening our gifts - we got so many!! We received alot of our 'must-have' items like the car seat, stroller, swing, playpen and diaper disposal system! Not to mention adorable clothes, blankets, bibs and books :)
The hostesses also got us monogrammed birp-cloths and diaper covers - they were PRECIOUS!
The delicious cake! Again, they sent us home with about half of it. That made me happy for the rest of the week :)
