Halloween!

Halloween at our house this year was so fun!  Jill LOVED running from door to door with her friends and getting tons of candy!  She wanted to be Minnie Mouse and I tried making Haven be a Cowboy, but it failed.  He ripped off his hat, screamed when we put his gun holster on him, and hated his boots.  So he wore a plaid shirt and jeans; we'll still say he was a cowboy :)

Haven wasnt even having going for a wagon ride with his friend, so he walked with us for a while and then went on candy duty with Jeff.

Jillian had a NASTY allergic reaction to some antibiotics she was taking and broke out in an awful rash on Halloween.  It's even worse today, poor girl.  Not sure if you can see it in the pictures.
She LOVES the rash though.  I've told her it's pretty, and she believes me.  She'll go stand in front of the mirror and smile at herself and say she loves her rash because it makes her more pink.  ha!

LOVE this picture! Such a handsome one!!

These girls are such sweet friends!  They ran around like crazy girls from house to house getting candy.  They are doing their 'girls with attitude' pose.

Jill's bday

This is another post I started months ago and just finished up....

Jillian is 3.  How can she already be 3 years old?  My daughter has now blessed us and made us laugh and love harder than we knew possible for 3 years.  Man what a fun 3 years.  Jillian is quite simply the funniest person I know.  I love having conversations with her, love her curiosity, love how she cherishes her brother, love she wants to play all day, love her imagination, love how I can see a lot of Jeff in her.... quite simply we love this girl.

Since her actual birthday fell on a Monday, she went to school like usual and we had a cupcake party with her friends right before all the kids went home.  Jeff took the rest of the day off, so we took her to see a movie and play the rest of the day away.

Bama and Unchie got Jillian exactly what she had been asking for - a bike!!

Jillian was incredibly blessed to get a TON of fun gifts from her friends at the birthday party and both sets of grandparents spoiled her rotten!  Nana and Papa gave Jill and Haven a joint gift - one that took Jeff 8 hours to put together, and the kids love playing on.....

a playgym!!!!!

We spent at least an hour every day playing on it.  the kids love it!

Haven's bday

Haven's 1st birthday fell on a Saturday so my parents and Aunt Shelby came over to celebrate!  Since he had already had his birthday party, he only had a couple little gifts to open and of course devour his smash cake!

Bama and Unchie got him this blue car, which has been one of the best gifts.  We take it everywhere! He loves riding it; he's so much happier in it than a stroller.  Even Jill likes to push him around :)

Nana and Papa got him a joint gift with Jillian - a jungle gym!  A picture of that is posted on Jillian's birthday post!

Happy birthday Bubbies!  We love you SO much!!!

Preschool

I started this post a couple months ago....  and decided to finish it up.

Jillian has started pre-school.  We're talking show and tell - so this is getting to be real school!  I loved show and tell as a kid.  She goes MWF, and does gymnastics on the day she stays late.  She has womderful teachers and she loves all her classmates.  She also goes to music, spanish and chapel one day a week.  One day last week she came home singing 'Deep and wide' (there's a fountain flowing Deep and Wide...).  She knew all the hand gestures, and to bleep out words with each progressive verse.  I hadn't heard that song in years!   I LOVE they are still teaching that song!
Here are a few pics of Jillian on her very first day of Preschool!

Turning 3 & 1 Birthday party!

With the kiddos birthdays only 5 days apart it was a no brainer to combine their parties.  We had it at a local rec center with a big house house and slide.  It was Dora and Diego themed, since Jill is OBSESSED with Dora.  We had a great turn out with 12-15 kids; J and H had such a great time!  I was thrilled it all turned out so well, because I had so much fun planning it.

The birthday kids!!

Anxious for her friends to arrive.....

Bama and Unchie!!
Haven was attached to Unchie the entire party which was great, so Jeff and I could mingle and go down the slide with Jill.  Thanks dad!

Jill and one of her besties Leila

This party girl go so red-faced and hot because she never stopped running around, jumping and sliding.  She didnt stop to eat anything for lunch (unheard of with Jill) and only stopped for a couple mins to eat cake.

I LOVED Jill's cake.  Since Haven doesn't really know what's going on, we only did the cake and singing 'Happy Birthday' to Jill.
(We did Haven's smash cake on his actual birthday at home with just family.)

She did stop playing for 5 minutes to stop and eat Strawberry cake, which is becoming a tradition at her birthdays.... I think she loves it so much because it's pink!

Of course I had to go down the slide a million times just like the kids.  It was really fun!

Even Unchie went down the slide with Jill!

Jill and Leila.

London and Jill.

Way to go Jones - laying one on the birthday girl!  So sweet!

Thank you to all our friends who came and played - it made the day so fun for Jill and Haven!
Happy Birthday!!!
