Our Sweet Baby GIRL!!

We're so blessed to have a BABY GIRL on the way! She's due June 26th and we can not believe it! What a blessing from God!! We found out on Friday January 23rd at the end of our 17th week that's she is in fact a precious girl! She was bouncing around on the sonogram, opening and closing her left fist and just having fun. She measured six inches and 1/2 pound, so right on track! From the sonogram, she looks healthy and normal, praise God!

I must say, Jeff and I's intuition was way off, we were almost certain that she was a boy (for whatever reason). We asked the sonogram lady to check everything on our baby first and make sure the baby is healthy before she told us the sex. So she measured the head, bones, checked the vital organs and said everything looks great! Then asks what we think we're having. We confidently say, 'we're pretty sure it's a boy' she grins and says 'well your having a little girl'. I start crying from excitement and Jeff asks if she's sure and to check again. too cute! so of course, she did and double confirmed she's a girl. No worries though, Jeff has fully embraced the idea of a little daddy's girl and is so excited! We both are!

Today is my first day of week 19! Woo-hoo! One more week, and I'll be 5 months! As I write this, she's moving around inside me, feels like little 'taps', it's the coolest thing ever! I first felt her move half way threw my 16th week. It was amazing!

We continue to pray that she grows healthy and strong!

Hi Friends!!
I'm glad you found us! I (morgan) decided to start a blog after realizing I'm pretty much addicted to reading friend's blogs! Especially my friend Cherie who lives forever away in Oregon and I never get to see (but hopefully will this June)!

My goal with the blog is to keep an 'online scrapbook' of our lives and I'm hoping this blog gives me the motivation to do it! Sadly, I am not the best at picture taking or tracking big moments in our lives. With our family growing, I need to get better!!
Right now, I have Jeff standing behind me calling me a nerd for blogging (and singing a little song about me blogging all day long....?? yes, he's weird!), I have Austin our 9 month old Golden Retriever at my feet, and I have a little baby girl growing inside me! That's our family - it's been so much fun with Jeff growing this little family of 2 to 4!

Enjoy the blog, but it might not be 'spicy' for a while, I'm a newbie and have a lot to learn about blogging... he he.
