This Girl

It's been a while since I've told some Jillian stories - so here I go.

Jillian put herself in Time-Out the other day.  I noticed she has torn a page out of from one of her books.  I called her over and asked if she did this (the page was on the floor) and she says 'Yes'.  Before I even say anything else she says "Jillian time out for tearing page".  I said "You think you need to sit in time out for doing this?"  "Yes"  I said "Ok, go sit in time out"  She sat there for 30 seconds and I couldn't stand it.  She was so stinking cute, and I wasn't even upset she tore the page out.

I just thought this was hilarious.  I didn't stage this picture.

My dad's birthday was Sept 1 so we celebrated it over Labor Day weekend when my sister and her family came into town.  The first thing Jill told Unchie when she was him was 'Happy Birthday Unchie'!   My dad got the biggest smile on his face!  Jillian helped Unchie blow out his candles and then they had so much fun licking the sides of the cheesecake!

She loves after bathtime for us to give her crazy hair.  She laughs and laughs at how messy we can get it.

Ready to go to the arboretum last week.

Pacifiers are definitely what Jillian has regressed on since we had Haven.  She's always been a paci girl, but now it's a constant battle.  She's a big girl now, so i tried using logic with her.  I told her only babies use pacifiers, not big girls.  She looked at me with such an attitude and said "Big girls need pacis".  We have that same dialogue with diapers.  She's definitely not ready to give up diapers either.

Daddy can fix ANYTHING!  She breaks a necklace and says "daddy fix it when home from work". She could break something at 9am, and when daddy comes home at 7pm, she will give him a big hug and then start yelling for him to fix it.  She'll run and get whatever it is.  Quite the memory.  It's gotten to where if I even try and fix something she will tell me "No, daddy fix it".  ha!  I also use this at times when I want to be done with something and put it away for the day... we have to wait for daddy to come home.  When she saw me on Thursday with my special walking shoe and limping after I broke my toe, I sat down and showed her everything and told her about my broken toe.  Her face lights up and she says "Daddy can fix it!!!"  We laughed so hard.

Showing off her bling.

Bubbles make the world right.  Austin has just as much fun as her popping the bubbles.

Jeff taught Jillian this about brushing her teeth:  He asks her "What happens if you dont brush your teeth"  She says "Your teeth fall out"  Jeff says "And where will you look like your from?"  Jill says "Alabama!"
