HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

Happy Birthday Jillian!

Today we are doing all things Jillian loves!  She ate her first muffin today - blueberry - that I made for her.  We're having lunch with Jeff at Manny's - she loves beans and rice!  Bama and Unchie are coming over this afternoon to see the birthday girl!  We'll have lots and lots of playtime, playing outside in the water, and being held.... All things Jillian loves!  
Tomorrow is her big party.  Lots of family coming in town to love on her, and some friends are coming too.  She's excited, I can tell.  I'll do another post with pictures on what we did today and on her party tomorrow.  Today I want to give Jillian my undivided attention.  So I better wrap this up before she wakes.  


Here's a letter to our birthday girl:


Jillian,

We can't believe you're the big 1.0 today!!!  
How can you already be one?  How did time possibly go by this quickly?  Don't get me wrong, I'm proud you're one.  I'm excited you're one.  You have grown and changed so much this year.  It's boggles our minds.  Your dad and I are filled with joy and thankfulness to have a healthy, happy, delightful, giggly, beautiful, curious, food-lovin', smart, loving, mischievous little girl.  But we're allowed to be a little sad that this year has flown by.  It's been the best year of our lives.  We never imagined how much we'd love you and how we'd find ourselves just staring at you and laughing so hard.   You constantly make us laugh and enjoy the small things in life we take for granted.

Always know your mom and dad love you more than anybody in this world.  We will always love you, support you, protect you, take care of you, pray for you, feed you (yes, you should laugh at that.  trying to lighten the mood) laugh with you, and have faith in you.
It's our goal as your parents to make sure you know how special, loved and absolutely adored you are.  By not only us but by God.  What a privilege that God allowed us to be your parents.  We are truly humbled and thankful.  Your dad and I pray for you every single day.  We pray this next year in your life is filled with more fun, just like your childhood should be!  

I can't begin to wrap up this year, I suppose that's what this blog is for.  To remember the highlights and all the fun milestones you accomplished.  Tomorrow you're going to have a proper birthday party with your family and friends.  You'll love it.  You love being the center of attention!  We can't wait to celebrate with you, and ring in your 1st year.


We love you Angel Baby.  We love you so much.  Happy Birthday and we can't wait to love on you this next year and many many many more to come.
